High School Diploma Test
1. How does this actually work?
John Adams High School has developed a High School Equivalency Testing Program (Online GED testing service) to meet the needs of those in need of a high school diploma. The tests used on our program are the same tests designed and administered through the Department of Education and State GED testing facilities. Tests are taken online and delivered via electronic means.
2. How do I make application?
Application must be made online using the application form . Please follow instructions and use the help buttons to assist you. Apply Today
3. How much is it to take the test?
The cost is $19.99 for a three month subscription to our testing center (Online GED testing service). Once you pass the test, you may order your graduation package. Once the test is passed, you need only pay the remaining tuition fee of $279.01. You are not required or obligated to order your graduate package.
4. How much does the graduation package cost?
High School Diploma, Transcript (Online high school credit courses), Padded Diploma Cover and more as low as $299.00
5. What is included in the graduation package?
Once you complete and pass the test, you can make an order for your graduation package. Your graduation package consist of: (for some samples of below items please click here )
- High School Graduation Diploma, Printed on top quality parchment paper 8 ½” x 11” signed by the high school administrative staff, embossed with the JAHS seal and bound in an a JAHS embossed diploma cover.
- Embossed Padded Diploma Cover. Your padded diploma cover is embossed in gold with the John Adams High School name.
- Official Transcripts: This is your official academic record. Your transcripts are issued upon graduation. They include all courses to meet your diploma requirement through Online high school credit courses.
- Verification of Degree and Transcript: Lifetime transcript verification through the JAHS Registrar's Office. Your student record will be maintained on file permanently with the Registrar's Office. Any third party such as an employer who you authorize ( click here to get authorization forms ) will be sent a certified/official copy of your transcripts. There is a small administration fee for each certified copy sent.

6. Is this a legal diploma?
Yes, John Adams High School is registered to issue high school diplomas for distance learning and online education. This is a legal high school diploma. You may include it on your résumé (cv), business card, letterhead, passport, web site, job application, or any other official document you complete.
7. What can I use my diploma for?
Some people want their high school diploma to assist them in getting a better job. You might have the experience and the knowledge to do the job, but often time's employers' will pick the person with the high school diploma over the person without it. Getting your diploma will level up the playing field and improve your prospects considerably. Of course, there are those who aren't concerned about employment prospects. They might be self employed, retired, or even happy being at their current employment level; but they want the personal satisfaction of knowing that they have achieved their high school diploma. They want to hang their diploma on the wall and feel proud at their accomplishment.
8. How long will it take to get my diploma?
In most cases the whole process can be completed within 2-weeks of completing the online High School Equivalency Test.
9. What does the diploma look like?
The diploma is professionally produced and of very high quality and meet ISO Printing Industry Standards. Diplomas are printed on a fine quality 60-lb parchment paper and bears the embossed seal of John Adams High School. Transcripts are printed on the same security paper used by many high schools and colleges. There is no difference in quality if you were granted a diploma from your State operated high school. 10. If I get a high school diploma from JAHS can I get into college?
JAHS graduates have been well received in the business and education community. We cannot guarantee who will or will not accept your JAHS diploma. If you are considering a JAHS diploma for college admission, we encourage you to first check with the college or university to ensure they will accept your diploma.
11. What graduation date will be on my degree?
Your graduation date will be current to the time period you complete and pass your High School Diploma Equivalency test. We will not postdate or back date diplomas.
12. Can I get into trouble with this diploma?
Your diploma is legal. How you choose to use it might not be. If you misrepresent how your degree was earned, it could land you in be held liable for your misrepresentation. For this reason we tell people that they should always be truthful about how their diploma was earned. Be proud that you were able to earn it by an independent testing process. You worked for this diploma no less than someone who sat in a classroom. In many cases your diploma represents years and years of work, knowledge, and accomplishment.
13. Can I contact JAHS directly?

14. Is the diploma verifiable?
Yes, your diploma is verifiable through the JAHS registrar's office by phone or fax. Please complete the online authorizations forms that comply with State and Federal Privacy Laws. We will also mail your transcripts to anywhere you need them for a small processing fee.
15. Can I get a replacement diploma/transcript if it is damaged?
Yes, you can get a replacement diploma. If the diploma or documents are damaged in shipping to you, they will be completely replaced without cost. If at a later date you damage or lose any documents, they maybe replaced. Just reference your student number and the files can be accessed. There will be a charge in this case for replacement documents.
16. Can I get a brochure mailed to my home address?
One of the reasons why fees are kept so low is because we don't allocate funds toward some administrative expenses. No brochures are produced and printing and mailing costs are saved. Everything is available on the web site.

Due to our efficient online setup and high volume of inquiries, we have chosen not to engage in routine phone calls. Please take a few minutes to read our web site and go through the FAQ. 18. What countries do you ship?
We will ship worldwide.
19. How do you ship?
In the US and Canada we will ship USPS Priority and or Express Mail. Shipping to other countries will be by what means we decide is the best air service to that country, usually Fed-Ex, EMS or DHL.
20. Is this a good way to get a diploma?
For some people it is the only way they will get a diploma. You must decide for yourself if this is a good program for you. We know our program is not for everyone. We don't want to consider JAHS it if it isn't right for you. We ask you to consider this. Are you going to return to high school to earn your diploma or settle for a GED? How long will it take you? How much will it cost? There are different roads for each of us to travel. Do you want to have the journey or just reach your destination?
21. Are you accredited by any of the U.S. regional accrediting agencies that are approved by the U.S. Department of Education, for the purpose of offering federal grants or loans?
A. Our student population resides in all regions of the world, and at last count, residing in over 60 nations. ALL of our services are conducted via electronic delivery means, with NO RESIDENCY requirements. This is the reason we can do what we do for such small fees.
The idea of centralized government control over higher education in the United States was rejected in favor of a system of voluntary regional accreditation organizations. Membership in any one of the several U.S. regional accrediting associations is strictly voluntary. These regional accrediting associations are privately owned and operated and are NOT owned or operated by the U.S. Government or the U.S. Department of Education. Similar online programs cost over $ 1,200.00.
22. What guarantee do I have that my diploma will be accepted?
We cannot guarantee who will accept your JAHS diploma. We know there is a high level of acceptance for the JAHS diploma, but acceptance is not up to us; it is the decision of the other party. Acceptance levels for a JAHS diploma has been strong.
