Getting your high school equivalency diploma has never been easier than right now. You no longer have to wait to get a GED and take a state mandated test at a certain center. You can get your high school diploma right away and start your brand new life.
Life is hard without a high school diploma. You will be able to only get certain jobs and they will not pay very well at all. You are better off to get a high school equivalency diploma and have a better choice of jobs. Not only that, you can further your education by taking some college courses.
Just about every well paying job requires a high school education. Yet many young people leave school each year without graduating high school. There are many different reasons why people end up leaving high school. In some cases, they have to leave to take care of a parent. In some cases, they have no parents. Not only is a high school equivalency diploma a lot more convenient to get than a GED, but it looks better than a GED on your resume. You can put down that you graduated from an accredited school instead of got your GED. There is nothing wrong with getting a GED, it shows that you cared enough to go back to school and finish your education. However, some employers look at it as a black mark on your resume. They will wonder why you left school early.
Just because you left school early, for whatever reason, is no reason to subject yourself to a lifetime without an education. You should always be learning, even when you are old and gray.
